If you are a creative writer, a novelist, a published author or just someone who wants to help break a world record, then this site is for you. We can only do this with your help!

The system is currently in development and is expected to go live by the end of November '09, ready for your creative story submissions.

This web-site intends to put the fun into writing. Everyone and anyone can be an author in the longest novel ever written, right here at thelongestnovel.com!

In addition it gives each writer (you) a platform to be noticed as your page can contain links to your contact details and biography. Tell the whole world who you are and what you have done!

The principle is very simple. Anyone, anywhere in the world with access to the internet can contribute a page or pages to this on-going story.

We are attempting to break two world records...

The longest story every written (number of words).
The greatest number of authors contributing to a story.

These record attempts are currently being verified by the Guinness Book of World Records (GWR) in London.

Once our NEW site is live, all you have to do is log onto the website, www.thelongestnovel.com, read the summary of the story so far, read the last page, and then submit a continuation of the story (1 page) yourself. If you are successful it will be added to the story . . . and so on.
